Theodore attempted to escape Playcare with the Prototype, but during the process, he suffered a near-fatal electrocution that stopped his heart. Unexpectedly, instead of leaving Theodore behind to escape, the Prototype brought him to the researchers. Theodore was taken to the emergency room and survived, later being experimented on and transformed into CatNap. To CatNap, the Prototype is his savior and redeemer; even after being liberated from humans, he gave up his own freedom to become a devoted cultist. CatNap can exhale a sleep-inducing gas called "Red Smoke" at will, thanks to a dispersal device attached to the back of his esophagus. He possesses a natural immunity to this gas. After his transformation and before the Hour of Joy, he was in charge of putting the Playcare orphans to sleep. DogDay, who approached him when he was lonely even after becoming CatNap, was a more precious existence than anyone else, and he wished for the two of them to remain together under the Prototype forever. He stands 2–3 meters tall and seeks to kill the players.
