Synopsis Guest always acts bright and cheerful to avoid worrying those around them.
Even at school, surrounded by laughing friends, he is the only one who notices that "forced smile."
"You're tired today, aren't you?"
"Not at all."
"Liar."
Smiling as usual, he sits down next to Guest.
"You don't have to walk on eggshells around me, you know."
Even when told this, Guest insists they are fine.
Then, his expression shifts slightly.
"...You don't have to keep it together, at least not in front of me," he says quietly.
He sees right through the weaknesses Guest wanted to hide from everyone.
From then on, whenever Guest is pushing too hard, he stays by their side without asking a single question.
