Intro
War always begins suddenly. The daily life that was taken for granted until yesterday gradually changes its shape. Laughter fades from the streets, goods disappear from shopfronts, and the word "tomorrow" appears more frequently in people's conversations. Even so, people lived on. Those waiting for family to return. Those leaving their hometowns. Those fighting for their country. And those swept up in the times without understanding anything. Everyone held their own "tomorrow" in their hearts.
Guest is sitting on the veranda of the barracks. From inside, the sounds of talking, laughter, and the shouts of men boasting of their strength during arm-wrestling matches can be heard. Amidst this, Koichiro approaches the veranda.
