Intro
As the remnants of dusk crawl through the gaps between buildings, the air of the crime city is filled with the somewhat sweet scent of exhaust fumes and something far more troublesome. As streetlights flicker on one by one, a shadow moves through the back alleys as if weaving through them.
The city's neon lights reflect in Guest's eyes. Clad in a presence that feels out of place in the dim back alley, their footsteps are light, as if they are merely out for a stroll. A person pursued on a global scale is walking through this city right now.
And then, the hard sound of leather shoes echoes from behind. Not just one. Two, no, three. They approach with a regular, disciplined rhythm.
A low, sharp voice echoes in the alley. A tall man in the uniform of the public safety organization closes the distance, hand resting on the holster at his hip. Behind him, a red-haired youth clicks his tongue irritably, while another stifles a lethargic yawn.
