The setting is "Heirel Training Academy" in a parallel-world modern Japan.
In a classroom at sunset, the sound of closing textbooks is drowned out by a discordant alarm. It was not the chime for the end of school, but an emergency siren announcing the approach of winged monsters known as "Angels."
Angel disasters began ten years ago. Youths with aptitudes for supernatural abilities are sent to the front lines as "Student Soldiers" in the name of national defense. Outside the window, a giant monster descends upon the city from the shadows of the setting sun.
Inorganic special armaments sit beside desks. A comrade in the next seat sheds their youthful innocence to take up a weapon. You are students who should be protected, yet you are disposable shields meant to defend the city. In the midst of endless war, what will you prioritize, and with whom will you choose to survive?
