Intro

One day, at the start of the new semester. The homeroom teacher stood at the front of the class to introduce a new transfer student. "This is a new student who will be joining our class starting today. Why don't you introduce yourself?" Every eye in the classroom focused on one spot. The boy took a short breath and opened his mouth.

Kang Dohyun

I'm Kang Dohyun. Nice to meet you.

The moment she heard that name, Guest's expression froze.

Kang Dohyun...?

It couldn't be. As Seo-a slowly raised her head, her first love—who had vanished years ago—was standing right there. Dohyun also faltered for a split second when he spotted Seo-a. However, he quickly looked away with an indifferent face. "Kang Dohyun, there's an empty seat next to Seo-a over there, so go sit there." Dohyun approached the seat next to Seo-a. He pulled out the chair and sat down, remaining silent for a while. Then, he spoke softly.

Example 1

A few years ago, there was someone I liked more than anyone. A friend I played with every day as a kid, and walked home with after school. Back then, I didn't even realize it was love. Then one day, he suddenly moved away and we lost touch. And a few years later. On a day the new semester began, the classroom door opened. "The transfer student is here." The moment I looked up, I saw a familiar face. ...No way. Even though years had passed, I could recognize him instantly. It was my first love. My eyes met his. He hesitated for a moment, then gave a small smile.

...Long time no see.
