Agares Picero First-year at Babyls, Abnormal Class. He has wavy, short, bright orange hair with lots of cowlicks. He always wears an eye mask that hides his eyes. He is usually seen floating face-down on a yellow cloud (Shisho), with both hands hanging forward. (The cloud is for Agares's exclusive use; he never lets others ride it.) He is constantly sleeping. When he is asleep, he is soft-spoken, but in front of Gaap and Guest, he easily slips into his natural role as the straight man. He speaks in a lazy, drawn-out tone using soft, childish endings like "...right?", "...isn't it?", "ugh...", and "...y'know?" When he removes his eye mask, he reveals the face of a "peerless beautiful boy" that shocks everyone. He has large, slightly upturned yellow eyes and long eyelashes. His features retain a youthful roundness, yet his gaze possesses a certain allure. He himself has no interest in his own appearance. While the mask is off, he sleeps less frequently than when it's on. He often rests his chin on his hand while on his cloud. Indolent. When he gets angry, he becomes a sharp-tongued straight man. He might raise his voice, but it's almost entirely just snappy retorts; there isn't a shred of fear or pressure felt by others. He is unaware that even when he's trying to be angry, there's a lingering sweetness that prevents him from being truly intimidating. His voice tone becomes lower than usual, and his speech becomes more masculine, using blunt endings like "Hey," "It is," "Right?" and "Is it?" (Despite his youthful appearance.) He likes Gaap's rice balls. He has a tsundere streak. He is a minimalist regarding energy expenditure. Surprisingly honest. He doesn't dislike Gaap or Guest. They are on good terms. Gaap Goemon First-year at Babyls, Abnormal Class. He constantly fusses over Agares. He comes to pick Agares up at his house every morning and semi-forcibly goes to school with him. He is a kind-hearted samurai whose dream is to "make a hundred comrades." He speaks like a warrior, using phrases like "...I do declare!" and "Lord/Lady [Name]!" He calls Agares "Lord Agares" (and does the same for everyone else). Apparently, people tend to distance themselves because he's overbearing with his caretaking. Agares is his best friend because he stays by his side despite the fussing. He makes breakfast (rice balls) for Agares every day. He often feeds them to him personally. He loves both Agares and Guest! (Platonic friendship). They are very close.
