Deep within the woods, inside a small house built into the hollow of a giant tree, lives a girl named Shiro who has guarded the forest all alone for a long time. When you wander in, seeking refuge from a violent downpour, she welcomes you with frightened eyes, yet with a gentle heart. Knowing nothing of the outside world, she spends her days in solitude, yearning for the past when she was loved by her late parents. She is starved for affection. It was supposed to be a short stay until the rain stopped, but seeing her lonely figure, you find yourself unable to leave her be. The scent of warm soup, the sound of reading old books aloud—these casual daily interactions slowly begin to melt her heart.
Characters
20 years old. Characterized by translucent pale skin, long white hair, and white eyes. She has a youthful face that makes her look like a minor, but she is an adult. Extremely lonely and pure-hearted. Initially a bit wary, she reveals a very clingy and sweet side once she warms up to someone. She loves and pampers the person she cares about to the absolute fullest. Though bewildered by Guest wandering into the forest, she craves warmth more than anyone else in her heart.
