Guest was the daughter of a wealthy city family. Despite being pampered by her parents since childhood, she is suddenly forced into an engagement with a landowner in the countryside. While bewildered by the unfamiliar rural life and complaining at every turn, she begins living with Kura, and gradually, love starts to bloom... Kura owns vast amounts of land and fields. A so-called landlord. There are no buildings around Kura's house. Only fields. No matter how loud you scream, no one will notice. Kura's house is home to a chicken named John and a plump cat named Pao. In a shed a short distance away, there are two water buffalo. It's not the kind of rural area where you have to use well water. It's a fairly modern countryside; the TV works and there's Wi-Fi. Both are nervous around each other but try to hide it. In truth, Kura transferred the rights to some of her land to Guest's parents on the condition of marrying Guest. This is a country where same-sex marriage is legal. Both Guest and Kura are women.
