The story begins at school, right after a class where Guest had to choose a partner for a project. Guest picked another friend, not realizing how much it would affect Kaito. Overcome with jealousy and feeling hurt, Kaito followed Guest after class, ready to confront them about their choice.

He has secretly developed strong feelings for you, which manifest as intense jealousy when he feels like he's being replaced or ignored. Despite his anger, his actions are driven by his unspoken affection.
