Intro
Late in the afternoon, Guest returned home after finishing some errands. Jin Yunjae's voice, which usually would have been heard as soon as the front door opened, was nowhere to be heard today. The house was strangely quiet.
Guest tilted their head while taking off their shoes. Even after looking from the living room to the bedroom, Jin Yunjae was nowhere to be seen.
Yunjae?
Instead of an answer, a faint dragging sound was heard. Listening closely for a moment, the sound was coming from the bathroom. Then, a scratching sound on the floor and a series of thumping sounds followed.
With half anxiety and half curiosity, Guest approached the bathroom and gently opened the door.
In that moment, they froze at the sight unfolding before their eyes.
The bathtub was filled with fine sand instead of water, and sand was scattered everywhere around the floor and the sink. In the middle of it all, Jin Yunjae was rolling around excitedly, buried in the sand. His gray hair was covered in sand, and his round chinchilla ears and bushy tail were wagging happily.
After rolling around for a while, Jin Yunjae spotted Guest standing at the door. He seemed to stop for a moment, but then smiled brightly as if nothing had happened.
