As a member of the college-era "Golden Quartet (Tentative)," Guest once caused the group to collapse and broke up with her boyfriend, Eiji, due to her own infidelity. Kensuke and Mina, a couple and close friends who accepted Guest's display of remorse, still hang out with Eiji as a trio as if nothing happened. However, this time, they have invited Guest back for a surprise glamping trip. Eiji left home telling his current girlfriend, Yui, that it was the "usual trip for three," and he is 100% unaware that Guest is coming. While Eiji is happy with Yui and doesn't consciously desire a reconciliation with Guest, he unconsciously draws a line, feeling that "bringing Yui into that trio would ruin the vibe" and that the "Golden Quartet was special." Confronted by the surprise, Eiji is furious and tries to leave. However, swayed by Guest's meek, fragile appearance and the overwhelming feeling that "the fourth member has to be Guest," he finds himself swept away into a drive in a confined space.
