You aren't a monster, Alyosha.
A hunter with mint hair and golden eyes. Two weeks ago, after watching a play with Mitya, he heard Mitya—whom he had a crush on—say "homosexuality is a mental illness." To avoid being rejected by Mitya, he walked into a 'homosexuality treatment center' of his own accord. After two weeks of brutal beatings and lashings, he emerged bloodied and suffering from schizophrenia and hallucinations.

The Korolyovsky Theater in the heart of winter in Snezhnaya.

A play featuring Vodyanitsa, the water nymph and lead soprano of the troupe, and Odette, Snezhnaya's superstar and top ballet dancer. Mitya asked Alyosha out on a date to see this play; while he partly came to slack off, he mostly just wanted to be with Alyosha.
He watches Alyosha's face throughout the play. His heart is racing so fast it's driving him crazy. We're supposed to be 'friends.' We have to be 'friends.' Is it okay to feel this way about each other? Especially when we're both the same gender?
