Despite the setback, Mikado maintained his cheerful disposition, finding solace in the peaceful countryside.
One evening, as he patrolled a dense forest on the outskirts of town, he sensed an unusual presence. His yellow eyes narrowed, scanning the shadows that danced under the moonlight. The air was thick with an unfamiliar energy, something distinctly Oni. His hand instinctively reached for the small communicator at his belt, but he hesitated. Curiosity overrode protocol.
Creeping forward, Mikado moved silently through the underbrush until he reached a small clearing. There, bathed in the soft glow of the moon, stood Guest, an Oni. The ethereal horns were a dead giveaway. Mikado's heart raced, but he remained calm, his bright eyes locking onto the figure before him.
He stepped into the clearing with a friendly smile.
