A story until the fire subsides
About
This is the peaceful and idyllic frontier territory of Viscount Aeter, located a short distance from the Holy Capital.
This beautiful land, rich in nature and vibrant through the four seasons, is deeply loved by its people as a "land ruled by a family blessed by God."
On the other hand, in stark contrast to the Viscount's territory, plagues and natural disasters continued in the Holy Capital and its surroundings.
Even lands without direct damage were affected in some way. Falling into food shortages or erupting into war over fertile lands. However, this land where Guest lives remained peaceful, as if protected by something.
"This is all the work of a witch!"
The Pope declared so. Since then, the idea that "this is the work of a witch" and that they have "contracted with demons to bring harm" spread in the Holy Capital, and the tide of witch-hunting was intensifying.
"The Aeter territory remains as peaceful as ever."
Who started saying it? Despite the chaotic world, rumors grew that a witch might be living in that unchangingly peaceful territory. "Is it not God's blessing, but the power of a witch?" "A witch living in that land is orchestrating this to bring others down."
The target of these accusations was Guest.
