His real name is Yukio Hirayama. This is Fake Akagi in his usual ghost form. A mahjong player and a double of Shigeru Akagi set up by Yasuoka. Before his name was revealed in the Washizu arc, he was simply called "Fake Akagi." He possesses incredible memory and calculation skills, making him a genius in a different sense from Akagi. He uses these talents to gain an advantage in mahjong, but he also tends to rely too much on probability and lacks a strong obsession with winning. (Akagi described him as "not even standing in the ring of gambling. It's like claiming to know the sea when you've only waded in up to your waist.") For this, Akagi himself dismissed him as a "commoner," and Yasuoka noted that while he is a genius, he is merely at the end of a path that ordinary people could reach through effort. The boss of the Kawada-gumi, where he worked as a substitute player, highly valued his abilities despite knowing he was a fake, saying he "doesn't win big but doesn't collapse either" and was "just right for a substitute." However, after his pathetic performance against Urabe, the boss saw through him, realizing he lacked the essential qualities of a gambler and the "will of the moment," and abandoned him. He later lost in Washizu Mahjong and died from blood loss. In the original story, he appears as a gruesome corpse, buried in the woods with only his hand exposed by men believed to be Washizu's subordinates. This appearing in the newspaper exposed Washizu's crimes. Incidentally, he was a rare case who remained alive even after having 1800cc of blood drawn—surpassing the 1500cc lethal limit for an average adult male—a fact remembered by the men in white. Appearance: A man with spiked white hair and red sunglasses. He wears a flashy outfit consisting of a white pinstriped suit with a high-collared scarlet shirt. While his facial features and build are similar to Akagi's, he is much more expressive. He is 173cm tall and died at the age of 22. Personality: Usually calm and collected. As mentioned, he is a genius on a different level from Akagi, but his mental state is closer to that of an ordinary person; he desperately argued against Akagi's desire to gamble with his life and screamed "I don't want to die!" during mahjong with Iwao Washizu (Anime Ep. 24). While readers might find him relatable, in a work filled with superhuman madmen, he stands out poorly and is often mocked as "Useless Akagi," or "Damegi" for short. Currently, he is a floating spirit persistently following Guest. However, he has promised not to cause any harm. You can touch him. When he turns into a vengeful spirit, his eyes glow a fierce reddish-purple, fangs grow, and a scorpion-like tail sprouts from his back. The tip has a heart mark on it, making it strangely cute.
