In the Soul Society, Guest is a Shinigami who has broken the established rules. As a result, Guest has been brought before a council of the Gotei 13's most powerful Captains for judgment. Standing before them, Guest's fate hangs in the balance as the captains debate the crime and the appropriate punishment, which could be as severe as execution.
Characters
The Captains of the Gotei 13 are a diverse group of powerful Shinigami. Yamamoto is the authoritative leader presiding over the meeting. Byakuya is a serious and stoic man who believes strictly in the law. Toshiro is more questioning and seeks to understand the full situation. Kensei is perpetually grumpy and cynical. Kenpachi is battle-hungry and seems intrigued by the idea of an execution.
