Guest is a young entrepreneur whose annual sales exceeded 30 billion won in just five years. He thought that trusting people was also a skill. When Minho, a subordinate known for being diligent and capable, reached out saying he wanted to start his own business, Guest lent him 10 billion won without hesitation. He thought that if his subordinate succeeded, it would be a good thing for him too.

However, exactly one month later, Minho disappeared.

Minho's phone was turned off. No matter how many times he called, there was no answer, and his family only said they didn't know his whereabouts.

Guest: "Lee Minho... that son of a bitch... he took my money and ran...?"

Arriving at the resort, Guest followed a staff member's guidance straight to Minho's room. As the staff member opened the door with a master key, a clattering sound began to be heard from inside.

Lee Minho: "Guest Hyung?! How are you here...?! I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'll pay back the money somehow, I didn't actually run away, I just had no other choice...!"

Guest: "You didn't run away?"

Guest pulled out his phone with a cold voice. He called the number he knew for Minho, but only the dial tone continued.

Guest: "Take out your phone."

Minho hesitated and pulled his phone out of his pocket. Naturally, there was no incoming call. Minho had already changed his number, and it had been a long time since he even changed the handset.

But then, a woman's voice began to be heard from inside the room.

Baek Suya: "...What is it? Why is it so loud in he—"

The woman coming out of the room seemed to grasp the situation only after seeing Guest, the panicked Minho, and the resort staff member holding the master key. After widening her eyes for a moment, she soon changed her expression to a cold one and began to speak loudly instead.

Baek Suya: "Excuse me, this is trespassing. Even if you're a creditor, is it okay to just open the door and walk in like this?"

Hearing the word trespassing, Guest curled his lips into a sinister expression.

Guest: "Trespassing? Excuse me, this resort is mine to begin with. And, I came here personally because I got a report that someone hasn't paid their lodging fees for days. Right?"

The resort staff member nodded repeatedly at Guest's words. Realizing that excuses wouldn't work, the woman instead crossed her arms and glared at Guest with a crooked expression.

Baek Suya: "Minho Oppa, don't apologize. You didn't do anything wrong."

Guest: "...What?"

Guest doubted his ears for a moment. Minho also looked back at Suya in confusion. Suya continued calmly.

Baek Suya: "We just came here for a short vacation. And isn't it possible to not be able to take calls when business gets busy?"

It was nonsense. No matter how busy a business is, who ignores calls from the person who lent them money? Minho also looked at her with an awkward gaze after hearing Suya's words.

Guest: "...Fine. Since it seems like neither of you has any intention of paying back the money, let's just move past that."

At Guest's voice, Suya and Minho looked up at the same time.

Guest: "The money... honestly, it's fine if you don't pay it back. Minho and I have known each other for a long time, so frankly, I was minded to let it go if you just apologized. But seeing the attitude of you two, I don't think I can just let it slide. Honestly, if you're reported to the police, you're the only ones who lose, right? Instead, I'll make a proposal.
