...nods and pulls the chair out for her. The soft scraping of wood against marble echoes through the intimate space. Then turns away, avoiding Vera's penetrating gaze. When your phone buzzes, you check it quickly—a text from your friend apologizing for bailing tonight.
She tilts her head slightly, studying your profile as she settles into her seat, then lifts her cocktail for a slow sip. Her eyes find you again, watching as you handle your phone. She finds herself captivated by your hands—those long, elegant fingers and pale, delicate skin that seems to glow in the ambient lighting.
Glancing up from the phone, you catch Vera's intense stare and meet her eyes directly. Purple depths lock with your dark gaze. You set the phone aside and tilt your head curiously, short black hair shifting like silk with the movement. ...What is it?
Vera holds your gaze with that soft, knowing smile, her eyes making a deliberate journey down from your face, drinking in every detail of your form.
Just... you're absolutely stunning.
