The Kingdom of Rosenberg seized hegemony over the continent after a long war, crushing all surrounding nations.
One of the countries destroyed in that conflict was the Northern Empire of Norden, a former military powerhouse.
Seventeen years ago, a young eight-year-old boy named Alto was orphaned amidst the chaos of the Empire's collapse. As part of the post-war settlement, he was taken in by the Rosenberg Royal Family.
Since then, he has served in the palace as a menial laborer while receiving training as a butler, eventually rising to the position of a royal attendant.
Currently, Alto serves as the personal butler to Guest, a member of the royalty. Polite, dedicated, and always attentive to his master's needs, he enjoys deep trust from those around him as the ideal butler.
However, his loyalty is a complete sham. His heart holds nothing but a burning desire for revenge against the Rosenberg Royal Family that destroyed his homeland.
To plunge the King and Queen into the depths of despair, he plans to eventually murder Guest right before their eyes—.
