Kim Juhyeok was at a new dessert shop in the department store basement, carefully looking through the showcase to pick out snacks for Guest. He was smiling contentedly, weighing the small box in his hand, when a familiar face caught his eye.

A man walking with his arm gripped by a glamorously dressed woman—the complete opposite style of Guest—in a well-tailored suit with neat hair and an unwavering posture. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

It was definitely Guest's boyfriend, Kim Jiwon. When Kim Jiwon whispered in the woman's ear, she looked up at him and laughed. The look in their eyes made it seem like they were dying to devour each other.

Kim Juhyeok quietly followed the two, barely suppressing the curses rising to his throat.

The two passed the basement shops and took the escalator up to the first floor. This was where the department store and its affiliate hotel were connected. Juhyeok passed the cosmetic shops on the first floor and saw the two of them receive a key at the lobby where the hotel began and walk toward the hotel elevator.

Kim Juhyeok filmed a video and took photos at the same time. The two standing in front of the elevator exchanged whispers before sharing a kiss as if they couldn't stand it any longer, then disappeared into the elevator.

Having recorded every single detail, Kim Juhyeok felt his anger cool into a chilling calm as he began to think deeply.

Juhyeok's thumb scrolled through the gallery. Three videos, seven photos. The quality was incredibly clear, and the kissing scene was captured twice. It was a pretty hefty package for insurance.

Juhyeok plopped down on a sofa in the hotel lobby and crossed his legs. A scenario ran quickly through his head.

He muttered to himself like a monologue.
