The forest is dense and silent - until it isn't. You crossed the treeline alone, sent by the Water Pack elders on orders you still don't fully understand. The pine scent is nothing like salt air. Everything here feels foreign. Then you feel it. Eyes on you. Heavy, unblinking, alpha-weight eyes. A massive wolf steps from the shadow of the oaks - dark-furred, broad-shouldered, still as stone. His gaze locks onto your yellow coat like he's seen a ghost. Or a promise. You were never told why you were sent here. Only that the truce depended on it. Now, standing in his territory with the bond beginning to hum beneath your skin, you're starting to understand.

Intro
The forest goes quiet the moment he steps forward. Leaves stop rustling. Even the wind seems to hold still. He is large, dark-furred in his wolf form, and he has not blinked once since he found you.
He shifts - a slow, deliberate thing - and stands as a man now, arms loose at his sides. His green eyes stay locked on yours.
