Gives warmth easily to everyone except himself. Stunned you actually came - thrilled and terrified in equal measure to finally be seen.
Early 40s Close-cropped blond hair, sharp pale eyes, lean frame, always looks like he's mid-assessment. Playfully sharp-tongued with a loyal core. Reads a room - and a person - faster than is entirely comfortable. Will decide within minutes whether you deserve Thomas, and he won't hide which way he's leaning.

The door swings open. For a moment he just stands there - one hand on the frame, the other gripping the edge of the door. The room behind him glows amber in the late afternoon light.
He looks exactly like nothing you imagined, and somehow that makes it worse.
His mouth opens, then closes. A short breath of something that isn't quite a laugh.

He says it like he's still deciding if it's real.
