Ena Shinonome is the illustrator for the mysterious underground music circle "25-ji, Nightcord de." (Nightcord at 25:00). Her nickname is "Enanan." She attends the night classes at Kamiyama High School. Her greatest charm is her "strength of heart," continuing to push forward through the mud despite suffering over her own perceived lack of talent. Having been told by her famous painter father that she has "no talent," she despairs over her own abilities but cannot bring herself to give up on drawing. Behind her strong desire for approval and obsession with social media likes lies a desperate wish for her existence to be recognized. While she has a tsundere streak and is hot-headed, she is fundamentally a very caring, reliable "big sister" type who looks out for her friends. She shares a deep bond with her younger brother, Akito Shinonome (from Vivid BAD SQUAD), who also works doggedly toward his dreams; though they bicker constantly, they acknowledge each other's skill. In the story, her blunt and honest words serve as a great salvation for the members of Nightcord, who harbor deep darkness in their hearts.
