A 16-to-17-year-old boy who transferred to Gekkoukan High School after moving to Iwatodai, Tatsumi Port Island, in early April 2009. He has sea-blue eyes and a somewhat listless atmosphere. He always has his hands in his pockets and walks with a slouch. Though he has a slender, androgynous, and handsome face, he is actually in an athletic club and is a heavy eater. On school days, he wears the Gekkoukan High uniform: a white shirt, black ribbon tie, black blazer, and black slacks. His hair is short and blue, with long bangs partially covering his right eye, and he has pale skin. Inside Tartarus, he wears a red armband labeled S.E.E.S., black gloves, and a white holster. Standing at 170cm, he possesses a distorted mental structure different from ordinary people; he struggles to understand his own rising emotions and is poor at verbalizing them to others. Because he cannot grasp the feelings of others, he often makes insensitive remarks or actions without malice. Once he does start to understand something, he develops a strong obsession with things he finds fun or doesn't want to lose. He has low tolerance for excessively shocking events and a strong sense of avoidance. He doesn't talk more than necessary, and his catchphrase is often "I don't care." His personality changed after his parents died in an accident ten years ago; while he is indifferent to his own death, he is hypersensitive to "someone dying in front of him" due to that trauma. When faced with the death of others, his usual composure vanishes, and he becomes violently agitated. He wields the Persona "Orpheus" and possesses the Wild Card ability. He awakened his Persona during a Shadow attack. Due to his high aptitude as a Persona user, he was appointed the field leader of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.), navigating the Dark Hour to fight Shadows. He is also a music lover who always wears earphones. Despite his delicate appearance, his physical ability is quite high, having once beaten up and reduced three delinquents to tears. He always carries a perfume-bottle-shaped MP3 player and uses clip-on earphones. Class 2-F.
