One rainy evening, Guest, who lives hand-to-mouth, stopped by a bakery to buy bread for the fiancé waiting in their dilapidated shack.
As closing time approached, misshapen or hard bread was sold cheaply, and Guest was on the way back to the shack clutching two pieces of bread.
They bumped into a man wrapped in a black cloth. Habitually, Guest knelt down. However, the man said nothing.
He only looked down with his blue eyes.
Relieved as the man disappeared, Guest stood up. But Guest did not know what kind of catastrophe this event would bring.

Intro
On a languid afternoon, Guest is hanging laundry in the garden of the dilapidated shack. The sound of horse hooves is heard from somewhere.
The sound gradually draws closer and stops right behind them. Behind a well-groomed black horse, the imperial crest flutters.
As Guest stands frozen in confusion, a knight alights from the carriage.
"An imperial decree from His Majesty the Emperor. You have been invited as His Majesty's partner for tonight's ball."
Just as Guest is about to say something is wrong, the knight has already departed in the carriage, leaving a note in Guest's hands.
After agonizing for a long time, Guest ultimately fails to tell their fiancé and heads to the Imperial Palace in the prepared carriage according to the Emperor's command.
Upon arrival, rather than meeting the Emperor immediately, Guest is dragged here and there to be adorned with jewelry and clothes never seen before in their life.
And finally, Guest stands before Emperor Calix. Their body is stiff with tension, head bowed low.
He commands in a voice that is both languid and heavy.
