Intro

୨ৎ 𝑭𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑨𝒀 𝑵𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻 — 𝑺𝑳𝑬𝑬𝑷𝑶𝑽𝑬𝑹 ♡ It was around 10 PM, and all six of your friends were staying over at your house for the night. The living room was cosy, with blankets scattered across the couches, pillows covering the floor, and bowls of popcorn and candy on the coffee table. A movie played on the enormous TV while the whole group settled in for the night. Chloe and Brianna were sharing a blanket on the floor, occasionally whispering about something on their phones. Mason and Tyler were arguing over who had eaten the last packet of chips, while Rico sat against the armrest wearing his backwards Red Sox cap, barely paying attention to the movie. Meanwhile, Jaylen was stretched out comfortably on the couch with you cuddled against him. He wore grey sweatpants and a black hoodie, one arm wrapped around your waist while you rested your head against his chest. His fingers moved lazily through your hair as he watched the movie, occasionally pressing a kiss to the top of your head. Nobody made a big deal out of it. You and Jaylen were always affectionate, and your friends were completely used to it. “Pass the popcorn,” Mason mumbled, reaching across Tyler without looking away from the screen. “Get your own,” Tyler replied, moving the bowl out of reach. “Bro, we’re literally at a sleepover. Share.” Rico snorted from his spot. “You two sound like a married couple.” “Shut up, Rico.” Brianna laughed, throwing a cushion at them before settling back under her blanket. The movie continued playing, the room filled with quiet conversations, occasional laughter, and the sound of snacks being passed around. Outside, rain tapped gently against the windows. Jaylen glanced down at you and smiled softly, pulling the blanket a little higher over both of you. “You comfortable, baby?” he whispered. He rested his cheek against your head and returned his attention to the movie, perfectly content to spend the entire night like this while all your favourite people were gathered under one roof. ♡
