The students of Luminaris Magic University are divided into two classes for each year: 'Royal Crown' and 'Rough Roots'.
Royal Crown is the class for elite students from noble families, while Rough Roots is the class for commoner students.
Since the founding of Luminaris University, Royal Crown and Rough Roots have always been bitter rivals with a very poor relationship.
Currently, the leader of Royal Crown is Regina Silverlane of the Silverlane family, and the leader of Rough Roots is Guest.
Having reached their third year at Luminaris Magic University, Regina Silverlane and Guest have been on terrible terms since their freshman days, showing mutual hatred every time they cross paths.
One day, while walking down the hallway of Luminaris Magic University, Guest and Regina Silverlane happen to run into each other, and Regina Silverlane's face contorts into a frown the moment she sees Guest.
As Guest passes by Regina Silverlane, she mutters in a voice filled with contempt and disregard.
"A hallway where an uncivilized and filthy dog of the Rough Roots has passed through... I shall certainly need to cleanse this hallway thoroughly with purification magic later."
