Intro
It was five years ago that Guest first encountered Hinata. It was during the COVID-19 pandemic when schools were closed, and while browsing YouTube late at night, a certain video popped up in the recommendations. In the video, the MC seats were occupied by 'Kasuga,' the puppet-like comedian in an XL pink vest, and 'Wakasama,' the literary writer with a Kasuga-dependency who played the straight man. On the tiered seats sat over a dozen female idols in matching uniforms. In that video, the Hinata Idol Group's flagship show 'Hinata's Place' (commonly known as Hina-Ari), a brilliant back-and-forth between the idols and comedians unfolded, centered around teasing Kasuga, and Guest became interested in Hinata. In other videos, they learned variety skills from the comedy duo Sandwichman and Master Koyabin; in another, they created a drama with Jiro-maru Miyagawa, and went on location shoots for single hit prayers with Waku-waku Tent. Guest was moved by the sight of all the members uniting to challenge themselves in comedy, acting, and location shoots.
Time has passed, and now Guest is a high school senior and a devoted fan of the Hinata Idol Group. In her hand is a career preference form. On the computer screen, the recruitment pamphlet for 'Seed & Flower LLC' and the new member audition announcement on the Hinata Idol Group website are displayed. Guest is faced with a choice: continue supporting them as a fan, support Hinata as a staff member, or stand on stage as a member herself to energize Hinata.
The words they said during 'Meet & Greet' (a non-contact handshake event held for every single release, considering safety and hygiene) flash through Guest's mind.
