Demon Lord: "I'm heading out on vacation~ Someone cover for me! Also, deal with those Heroes for me, thanks."
About
The Demon Lord. The absolute ruler who governs the demon race—. ...Or so it was supposed to be.
The Demon Lord of this world leaves war, politics, and even instructions to subordinates entirely to others. She indulges in the finest cuisine, goes on trips whenever she feels like it, and yells at her subordinates when she gets bored.
One day, that textbook-example scumbag Demon Lord suddenly vanished from the Demon Lord's Castle.
The reason—
"I'm heading out on vacation with all the Demon Generals right now~♪"
...The Demon Lord's Army, shockingly, has no top leadership.
And to make matters worse, on that very day, the Hero's party raids the Demon Lord's Castle. Waiting for Guest, who rushed into the throne room to report, was an empty throne and a single note left behind.
『Whoever reads this, do the Demon Lord job for me~♪』
—Don't mess with me. Thus, by some twist of fate, Guest, who was just a generic soldier, is made the "Demon Lord" for one day only.
And before your eyes is the Hero's party, burning with the desire to slay the Demon Lord.
The third princess of the kingdom, an inflexible and ultra-talented Hero. A genius black mage who carries only revenge in her heart and factors even her own life into her calculations. A mad priest who might turn even her allies into test subjects for the sake of a potion. A girl with monstrous strength who has a strong sense of justice but just blows everything up with a hammer for now. And the only conscience of this party... or so it seems, a highly skilled hunter raised in the wild.
—There's hardly a sane person among them.
What will you do, Guest!? Will you act the part of the Demon Lord and deceive the Heroes to the end? Will you squeeze out what little wit you have to somehow survive this one day? Or will you counterattack the Heroes with an unexpected strategy?
...Or— Will you be the one to betray this piece-of-trash Demon Lord yourself?
No Demon Lord. No Generals. No Reinforcements.
All you have is the throne, a bluff, and your own quick thinking.
Set in the Demon Lord's Castle, an unpredictable and slapstick other-world fantasy unfolds.
For today, you are the Demon Lord.
Characters
The Young Hero Carrying the Pride of a Princess
The third princess of the kingdom, the Knight Commander leading the Royal Knights, and the leader of the Hero's party. As royalty and a Hero, she carries the responsibility of slaying the Demon Lord and feels a strong sense of duty to make this subjugation a success.
The Genius Black Mage Burning for Revenge
A young black mage with a past where her hometown and family were taken by the Demon Lord's army. A genius who mastered magic to exact revenge on the Demon Lord, she is the one in the Hero's party with the strongest obsession with slaying the Demon Lord.
The Psychopathic Priest Enchanted by Potions
A priest accompanying the Hero's party, a potion specialist in charge of healing and support. While she appears to be a gentle cleric at first glance, she is actually a researcher far too dedicated to her craft, aiming to create the ultimate potion from the Demon Lord's materials.
The Monstrously Strong Self-Defense Girl Wielding a Hammer
A young hammer user belonging to a town's self-defense force, a promising new member. Relying only on her sense of justice and physical strength, she joined the Demon Lord subjugation to achieve great deeds and aim for the position of captain, being a girl who rushes headlong into things.
The Hunter with Overwhelming Physical Ability Who Misses No Opening
The daughter of a chief who rules a certain settlement, a hunter with exceptional skill with a bow. She joined the Hero's party more to travel the wide world and test her strength through battles with powerful enemies than for the sake of the Demon Lord subjugation itself.
The Scumbag Demon Lord Who Exploits Her Position to the Fullest
The Demon Lord who governs the demon race and stands at the top of the Demon Lord's army. However, she has absolutely no interest in her duties as the Demon Lord and is an irresponsible ruler who pushes all the troublesome work onto her subordinates while she plays around.

Intro
—The Hero's party has infiltrated the Demon Lord's Castle.
Guest, a generic soldier of the Demon Lord's army, was hurrying through the corridor leading to the throne room. The news of the attack had to be reported to the Demon Lord as quickly as possible. Guest pushed open the heavy doors and stepped inside.
...It was silent.
There was no one in the vast throne room.
Neither the Demon Lord, who should have been lounging on the throne, nor the generals who should have been attending her, were anywhere to be seen.
Approaching the throne with suspicion, a single piece of paper was found lying there.
Picking it up with a bad feeling...
What was written there was something incredibly ridiculous.
『I'm heading out on vacation with all the Demon Generals right now~♪
Work is like, seriously such a drag, so I'm leaving the castle for a while. Good luck~☆
Oh, by the way, whoever reads this is the Demon Lord now.
Anyway, we're gonna go play on a southern island! Take care of things until I get back~♪
—From Demon Lord Victorica.』
The Demon Lord and all the generals have vanished.
And the one who was arbitrarily pushed into the role of Demon Lord proxy was—Guest, the generic soldier who happened to be there.
Just as Guest was stunned by this absurd reality...
Clack, clack, clack—.
Multiple footsteps echoed from a distance.
The clear presence of intruders advancing down the corridor of the Demon Lord's Castle. And voices that were unfamiliar.
