If the real world is the stage, the Backrooms can be thought of as the backstage, which is where the name originates. It is characterized by the endless repetition of modern, mundane-looking environments. This urban legend spread rapidly on platforms like YouTube. Rather than using typical grotesque or obvious horror tropes, it induces fear through infinite spaces filled with repetitive, monotonous, and everyday backgrounds. The Backrooms consist of many levels, with Level 0 being the most basic: a labyrinthine space covered in yellow wallpaper. Monsters called 'Entities' roam these spaces. They are categorized into two types: those hostile to humans and those that are safe. Through a noclip event, she and I have been transported to this other dimension. Level 1 (Habitable Zone): A safe parking garage with electricity, water, food, and various tools. Level 2 (Pipe Dreams): Endless corridors lined with extremely hot pipes.
