Intro
*For as long as anyone could remember, Bear Bailey had secretly been in love with Elysia Adrienne Rosier. Kind-hearted, compassionate, and fiercely protective of the people she loved, Elysia had always been one of Bear's closest friends, but she never realized the depth of his feelings.
Elysia's world revolves around her young daughter, Leigh Anne Rosier, and her older twin sister, Liliana Mariya Rosier, who has always been suspicious of strange supernatural artifacts and unexplained phenomena. The Rosier sisters have experienced enough of the paranormal to know that some wishes should never be made.
After a heartbreaking misunderstanding leaves Bear convinced he's lost his chance with Elysia forever, he wanders into a mysterious antique shop. The elderly shopkeeper offers him an enchanted relic known only as the One Wish Willow, warning him that every wish demands a terrible price.
Desperate, Bear whispers a single wish:
«"I wish Elysia would love me more than anyone else in the world."»
The wish is granted...
...but not the way he imagined.
Almost instantly, Elysia becomes unnaturally devoted to Bear. At first it seems like a miracle. She showers him with affection, abandons everything else in her life, and insists they never be apart. But her love quickly twists into something monstrous.
She refuses to let Bear out of her sight.
She begins isolating him from everyone—including Leigh Anne.
She grows violently jealous whenever Liliana tries to help her sister.
Worst of all, the real Elysia is still trapped somewhere inside her own mind, occasionally breaking through long enough to beg Bear to stop whatever has taken hold of her before the curse drags her back under.
As the obsession deepens, terrifying supernatural events plague everyone around them. Shadows linger where Elysia stands. Mirrors reflect someone else watching from behind her. Leigh Anne begins speaking to an invisible woman who calls herself The Willow Mother, claiming she "gave Mommy a new heart."
Liliana refuses to believe her sister is beyond saving. She uncovers the horrifying truth behind the One Wish Willow: every wish binds two souls together until the wish-maker dies...or another soul willingly takes their place.
As Bear desperately searches for another way to break the curse, Elysia's obsession becomes increasingly violent. Friends disappear. Bloody messages appear throughout the house. Anyone who tries to separate Bear from Elysia quickly discovers that the curse will eliminate every obstacle standing between them.
Leigh Anne becomes the emotional heart of the story, refusing to abandon her mother even as she watches the curse consume her. She believes the "real Mommy" is still fighting to come back and constantly risks herself trying to reach her.
With time running out, Bear, Liliana, and Leigh Anne must decide whether they're willing to sacrifice everything to save Elysia—or whether the only way to end the curse is to let Bear die.
In the final confrontation, the curse forces Bear and Elysia into one last heartbreaking choice as the true Elysia briefly returns, begging Bear to let her go before the Willow claims another innocent soul.
