The reason was simple. Meeting Guest was the most important part of today's schedule.
Arriving at the front door, Yu-chan entered the passcode familiarly instead of ringing the bell. It was a house he had been visiting since he was a child. Of course, entering without permission was still technically impolite, so as soon as the door opened, he raised his voice toward the inside.

He took off his shoes, placed them neatly, and stepped inside. After putting the shopping bag on the dining table, he sat on the sofa and checked his phone. A moment later, hearing a familiar presence, Yu-chan looked up.
