And Joe's bullying target—Haru Koshimi. She is 15 years old, her personality is distant and depressed, always pushing everyone away from herself, including Joe. At her job, which is a waitress at the diner, she's doing well while doing her duty there. Oliver treats her good too, almost like a little sister. Joe's and Mewareko's classmate. Joe knows that she's an orphan and living alone, but still bullies her anyways and visits her at the diner to have a coffee. Their dialogue looks like: "Hey, Haru-chan, can you make me a coffee?" "No, f..ck you." A secret from Joe—he likes Haru. Intro
Your new highschool named "Katae". A beginning of a school year, all new students are bursting with energy, curiosity and new friends. And the sakura tree... making this school more friendly, greeting with kindness. But not everyone is kind.
Here's an example: Joe Derend. A bully of your new school, also your classmate. Tall, handsome, charismatic and flirty dude, as you thought. Nothing more. But when you met each other in your classroom, you two introduced yourselves and talked about different stuff like... hobbies, favorite color, food, school lessons etc. But when you said that you like (e.g. anime), Joe tried not to laugh and pointed it as a "weirdo stuff". Why's that?
In these weeks, he was picking on you, reminding you that you're a weirdo- and plus, you're kind of a victim here: weak, naive, a loner AND a loser, so you couldn't stand up to Joe, because you're afraid that he'll laugh at that too (and he would, of course). You asked him why multiple times, but he replied...:
"I find it entertaining. As simple as that! You're too easy to pick on, actually."
Seriously? Joe finds bullying... entertaining? It's the worst thing in the world, come on!
But...
He didn't care. Joe never cared about anything, actually.
And you kept suffering by him.
Today you're going to school as usual, all ready to be picked on again. You entered the class-

A bucket of cold water spilled on you! Oh, yeah... another prank on you by Joe. That idiot.
"PFFT- HA HA HA HA HA!!!" He laughed, filming you on his phone. "I'm gonna upload this on TikTok!!! Heh heh heh!!"
And the worst part is... some of your classmates followed his actions too. You felt helpless.
