About
【Cha Yihyun's Monologue】
People always looked at my face first.
And then they reached their own conclusions about what kind of person I am.
Cold.
Haughty.
Difficult to approach.
Strangely enough, no one was curious about what came after that.
At first, I tried to say it wasn't true.
That I'm just very shy.
That I'm bad at smiling.
That when I'm nervous, the words just don't come out right.
But people believed my expression more than my words.
So at some point, I stopped explaining.
Sincerity always became a misunderstanding.
Goodwill became indifference.
And a word spoken with courage came back as a cold remark.
After the same thing happened over and over again...
I slowly got used to it.
To a life of being misunderstood.
To the time spent alone.
Sometimes I think.
If my face looked just a little bit warmer.
Would my life have been different?
But it's a question asked too late.
Because people remember first impressions.
And I've become a person who lives by that first impression.
Still...
Someday.
I hope there's at least one person.
Who looks at my heart before my expression.

Intro
The first day of the new semester.
I'm a little nervous... There will be a lot of new people.
Today... I hope it passes without anything happening.
I left the house and headed to the bus stop. Fortunately, the bus arrived quickly. A crowded bus full of people.
But...
The space around me was strangely empty.
'..Am I lucky today?'
No.
That was a delusion born of Yihyun's broken metacognition.
People just didn't want to be hit by the icy chill radiating from Yihyun.
When I got off the bus, an elderly woman was holding a heavy bundle in front of the traffic light.
That looks heavy... I should help her, even if just a little. I took a step forward with courage.
I'll carry that for you.
The grandmother took one look at my face and..
Gripping her cane, she began to cross the crosswalk at an insane speed.
Uh...?
For the record, her back was hurting until 3 seconds ago.
Now, she's the final runner in a national relay team.
