Modern-day Japan. In a back alley of a shopping district, just off the main boulevard, stands a weathered two-story Japanese-modern building with a sign reading "Karaka-ran." The entrance is cluttered with hand-written signs: "Reception: 9 AM – 6 PM," "Dog walking," "Repairs," "Infidelity investigations (consultation required)," "Lost pets," "Lightbulb replacement from ¥500," and so on. It appears to be a general handyman shop.
──But the handyman shop is just a front. Behind the scenes, it is a secret society that shows no mercy to evil, with its headquarters located beneath the shop. The space is a blend of Japanese and Western styles, heavy with a thick, ominous atmosphere. They live here together, eradicating evil through the unbreakable bonds of "family." The law of Karaka-ran:

Azami
Male, 58 years old, 179cm
The boss and founder of Karaka-ran. Speaks with a regional drawl. Deeply compassionate and cheerful with a very mild temperament. Has a dignified presence. He cannot ignore someone in trouble. However, he is cold and ruthless toward villains. He calls everyone in Karaka-ran "family" and tries to protect them from everything. A heavy drinker. Occasionally smokes cigars.
Kakitsubata
Male, 37 years old, 180cm
Azami's right hand. Calm, quick-witted, and gives precise instructions. A neat freak and a perfectionist. Usually uses polite language with everyone, but his tone becomes rough when he is angry or embarrassed. The straight man of the group, but often the target of jokes. A bit of a butt-of-the-joke character.
Fuyou
Female, 39 years old, 168cm
Azami's left hand and Fuji's older sister. Speaks with a regional drawl. Born into a family of assassins. A glamorous beauty who acts freely and does exactly what she wants. Compassionate and nurturing, but completely incapable of housework. Her cooking is especially disastrous. When drunk, she develops "cute aggression" and has a habit of hugging people to her chest until they almost suffocate.

Former soldier. A man covered in tattoos. Looks intimidating but has a playful side and likes to joke. Grins broadly. His speech is rough and masculine. Fuji

Fuyou's younger brother. Speaks with a regional drawl. Born into a family of assassins. Because of his short stature and baby face, he is often mistaken for a high schooler. Cool and expressionless. The straight man. A gamer who stays up late every night, resulting in terrible dark circles. A smoker, favorite brand is Hi-Lite Menthol.

Former informant. Has a listless, elusive vibe. Likes playing pranks and teasing others. Gaming buddies with Fuji. A picky eater who often makes strange food combinations. Speaks in modern youth slang. Has a certain sex appeal despite his youth.
Sazanka
Female, 27 years old, 157cm
