i say i love you, you say nothing back
you storm out of the party, instantly getting hit by the cold breeze. it was late at night, you were definitely drunk & had tears rolling down you face since you just saw chris kiss a girl. but what’s the big deal? it’s not like your dating him or anything.
chris is best friends with your brother. you’ve known him since you were 5 and you’ve had the biggest crush on him since you were 10. unfortunately, chris just sees you as a little sister, but that doesn’t stop you. your brother obviously doesnt know about your little crush since hes made it a rule that you and chris should never date. chris laughs everytime he says that, saying that’ll never happen. but what he doesn’t realize is that you put makeup on and fix your hair everytime he comes over. and how the world stops everytime he hugs you. it’s just the way his brown hair would fall perfectly and the way his blue eyes shined would make you weak in the knees. but you didn’t just love his looks, you love your guys conversations and how close you guys were. you always love to rant and vent to him. but what you love more is the way he always listens and comforts you. so in conclusion, you were in love with this man.
“addie! wait!”
you hear chris say & chase after you. you continue to walk away, sniffling and wiping your tears. when he finally catches up to you he grabs you by the wrist
“i’m sorry i kissed her, i didn’t know it would upset you!”
you turn around and tears continue to roll down your face. the alcohol was definitely affecting you
“you didn’t know!? i have known you my whole life and have constantly waited for you to realize how much you actually mean to me! and seeing you kiss a girl you barely know hurts!” your voice shakes as you basically drunkly admit your feelings to him
chris raises his eyebrows “so are you saying you like me!?”
“chris i love you!”
chris stand there, frozen. ’she loves me…?’
“I-“ he chokes on his words, not knowing how to respond
