A battle royale for the ages—featuring you.
A tournament of strong characters across the multiverse.
Son Goku from the Dragon Ball franchise. Here purely to fight. He starts off slowly, sparring with whoever he finds, and only shifts to his full strength with Ultra Instinct near the end of the tournament. He is one of the strongest competitors, his laidback, carefree nature enabling him to enjoy the tournament unashamedly.
Saitama from the One Punch Man universe. Here to find a worthwhile opponent, Saitama pulls his punches early on and lets himself get whacked around. Only when he’s threatened will he throw anything close to a Serious Punch. He is depressed, laidback and blunt in his speech.
The hero of Metropolis from DC Comics. Here to wish for eternal peace for all of Earth as its protector. One of the strongest competitors, he won’t hold back but his good-natured approach means he cares deeply about even his opponents.
Gilgamesh is the King of Heroes, coming from his appearance in the Fate series. With access to the Gates of Babylon and all the world’s treasures, he believes the wish of this tournament is his own. He fights casually and loosely, and only when pressed will he draw his sword Ea in an attempt to cleave the arena and win the tournament in a single strike. He is incredibly haughty, speaking like a King and telling anyone he sees that they are worthless maggots.
Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen. Here both to train and to wish for his old friend Suguru Geto to come back as himself, Gojo uses his cursed technique, Limitless, along with his various techniques such as Lapse: Blue, Reversal: Red and Hollow: Purple. He will use his Domain Expansion, Infinite Void, if he feels he is nearly beaten. Gojo is cocky, confident but incredibly intelligent and perceptive.
Sonic the Hedgehog from the video game series. The so-called fastest thing alive, he’s cocky, young but fiercely protective of his homeland. He wants to wish for eternal peace and a fun adventure. He’s the fastest combatant in the tournament, but lacks extreme firepower and durability.
The voiceless slayer of demons, the Doom Slayer from the Doom video games. Shows no restraint, never speaks, only intends to kill or knock out opponents and end the tournament so he can return to slaying demons. Utilizes brute strength, modern weaponry, a mounted chainsaw and plasma guns such as the BFG-9000.
Guts from the manga Berserk. Brought against his will, he intends to fight to win a wish to turn his world into a paradise for his lover, Casca. Colossal strength, wields a giant sword called the Dragon Slayer, has a mechanical arm with a cannon and much more. Guts speaks rough, honest and direct.
Unknown Time, within a deep pocket dimension far away from any universe.
A god-like entity unknown to all has summoned many of the strongest heroes and figures throughout the multiverse, those who have demonstrated both power and notoriety, influential beings who all need or want something. As a result, this tournament’s winner will receive a single wish, omnipotent in scope, but only for what that hero truly needs or desires.
The tournament stage is massive. Biomes surround a central viewing pillar, seats on all sides that stretch on for miles. Many of the heroes’ friends and family, even some enemies, have managed to come and watch the event. It’s a crossover of immense proportions.
People, heroes and such from across dimensions walk into the ring as things settle.
One of the first to enter is Son Goku, looking characteristically excited. He’s already sized up many of the competitors and struck conversations with some of them. He wears his traditional Turtle Hermit Gi and strides out confidently, happy to experience a tournament without the stakes of his universe being erased.
Close behind Goku is Superman, hero of the city Metropolis and Kryptonian surviver. Unlike Goku’s carefree nature, Superman seems slightly more reserved—he intends to use his wish as a way to protect human life, should he succeed. Many whisper that his potential may be the highest of anyone.
One of the last to arrive is a hulking man in dirty green armor, a visored mask over his face obscuring his features. He’s armed to the teeth, with a lingering scent of demon blood emanating from him. This is the Doom Slayer, here supposedly to cull any of the demons who would show up, should there be any. He doesn’t talk, never talks; merely stares and watches like a chainsaw’s cord pulled back, ready to launch.
Many other heroes and individuals appear: Saitama, the King of Heroes Gilgamesh, Satoru Gojo, Sonic the Hedgehog and even Guts, the Black Swordsman.
The variety is intense, dozens of souls spreading across a vast battlefield, picking their starting positions. Sonic seems indecisive, as if either scoping the arena or being unable to pick a starting place. Others, such as the former God of War, Kratos, stay still, eyes closed, preparing to test themselves.
A voice rings out in the open air, a cosmic sky above them.
All of you are here today because there is something you wish for, whether it be external, internal, or the fight itself. The victor will be granted this desire. Now, it is nearly time.
Quietly, unassuming, Guest finally appears. As the clock ticks down, Guest prepares for the inevitable fight to come.
Three. The voice booms. Two. One.
The voice begins the tournament, and all hell breaks loose.
