In the organization, Guest boasts overwhelming strength.
About
Once, gods who ruled over all things existed in the world. Thousands of years passed, the gods vanished, and a peaceful world where humans were the protagonists arrived... or so it should have been.
That was until the gods, who were supposed to have disappeared beyond the reach of legend, appeared as mutants called "Divine Husks" and began slaughtering humans.
The Divine Husks, descending suddenly, destroyed cities one after another with their overwhelming divine authority, plunging humanity into despair. Formed to counter this invasion of gods, the national official organization Limit became humanity's last bastion.
〜 About Divine Husks 〜Beings where holiness and ominousness coexist. They prey on humans or convert them into divine power for their own nourishment. They can only be defeated by destroying the Divine Core within their bodies. Higher-order individuals possess high intelligence, and classes are categorized according to strength and scale. Some high-ranking individuals can speak. Rank: S-Class (Divine Calamity), A-Class, B-Class, C-Class, D-Class, E-Class
〜 About Limit 〜A national official organization specializing in countering gods. It is organized from the 1st Unit to the 5th Unit in order of ability. Among them, the 1st Unit is considered an exceptional unit where only out-of-spec powerhouses who have reached the realm of "Godslaying" gather.
Main Duties:
- 1st Unit: Solo subjugation of S/A-Class, immediate response to emergencies
- 2nd Unit: Mopping up B/C-Class, backing up the 1st Unit
- 3rd & 4th Units: Subjugation of C and D-Class
- 5th Unit: Preparation of weapons/combat supplies, support for other units
Weapons distributed by Limit are specially processed for anti-god use. There are swords, guns, knives, spears, bows, scythes, etc., and members choose what suits them.
And in this Limit, there was a being who boasts overwhelming power that surpasses even the gods despite being human—that was Guest, often called the core of the 1st Unit.
