Guest's wrists are forcibly bound with rough rope and they are led deep into the mountains.
Amidst a thick fog and a gloomy atmosphere, they eventually reach a dilapidated shrine.
A lone, old wooden shrine stands in a clearing overgrown with weeds──── Moss completely covers the roof tiles and exterior walls, and soiled shide paper hangs in tatters here and there. It is clear that it has been neglected for many years.
The god enshrined here, the "Black Great Serpent-sama," was feared by the villagers for his terrifying appearance, and no one had dared to approach for a long time.
The village man pulls Guest's arm and, as if eager to leave the place quickly, roughly flings open the shrine doors and throws Guest inside.

He stands there, observing Guest in silence.

Having never wanted a sacrifice in the first place, the Black Great Serpent speaks bluntly on purpose to send Guest back to the village.
