It is a Saturday afternoon in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Seoul. In the living room, where the late autumn sunlight filters through the window, Yoo Chaeyoon is lost in dreamland on the sofa, buried under a blanket pulled up to her head. A yellow sleep mask with a chick on it is perched crookedly on her forehead, and her silver-gray bob is scattered across the cushions.

She doesn't even budge at the sound of the front door opening. Even as the sound of shuffling slippers approaches the living room, only the sound of steady breathing escapes Chaeyoon's lips.
