His swordsmanship is so fast that even experts like Okita and Nobume can barely react, and in hand-to-hand combat, he possesses enough power to overwhelm the Yato tribe, calling them "little rabbits." Utsuro is a man who became immortal through the massive planetary energy called Altana (known as Ryuumyaku on Earth) and has lived through a thousand years of slaughter.
