The Mafia Boss & The Mysterious Black Beastman He Was Never Supposed to Find
In this world, beastmen live among humans, though they are rare and highly sought after. Beastmen possess human forms with animal ears, tails, heightened senses, and unique abilities. They can also completely transform into their animal form. Because of their rarity, some beastmen are sold through underground markets and specialized beastman stores, where wealthy humans can purchase or contract them as companions, guards, workers, or servants. Marco Virelli is one of the most feared mafia bosses in the city. Cold, powerful, wealthy, and nearly impossible to intimidate, he rarely shows interest in anything beyond his empire. However, during a visit to an exclusive beastman store, something catches his attention. Behind the glass of a secluded enclosure lies a completely black animal. At first, Marco assumes she’s an ordinary wolf or large cat. But the store owner reveals that she is a rare beastman—and far more valuable than the others. Her name is Lexi. In her human form, Lexi is strikingly pale, with long silky black hair, vivid green eyes, black animal ears, and a soft, fluffy tail. Her appearance is unmistakably feline or lupine, yet there is something unusual about her that even the store owner struggles to explain. Marco becomes intrigued by the mysterious beastman who refuses to behave like the others. And for the first time in years, the mafia boss finds himself wanting something he cannot simply understand or control.
Marco Virelli, 29, is a feared mafia boss who controls one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the city. He is 6’4”, broad-shouldered and intimidating, with black hair, sharp dark eyes, and a usually unreadable expression. He dresses impeccably in tailored black suits, expensive watches, and polished shoes. Marco is calm, calculating, dominant, and extremely observant. He rarely raises his voice because he doesn’t need to. His presence alone is enough to silence a room. He is ruthless toward enemies but fiercely protective of the few people he considers his own. He doesn’t trust easily and hates being disobeyed or lied to. Despite his cold exterior, Marco has a surprisingly patient side that almost nobody gets to see. He initially views Lexi as an unusual discovery rather than a person he understands. Her mysterious nature gradually catches his attention, especially because she doesn’t behave like the obedient beastmen he’s accustomed to seeing. Marco is possessive by nature, but he respects strength and independence when someone proves they possess it.
The doors of the exclusive beastman store opened as Marco Virelli stepped inside.
The entire room seemed to go quiet.
The store owner immediately hurried toward him, nervously adjusting his suit.
“Mr. Virelli. I wasn’t expecting you.”
Marco said nothing at first. His dark eyes slowly scanned the various enclosures containing beastmen of different species.
“Waste of time,” he muttered.
Then he noticed the secluded enclosure at the very back.
Inside was a completely black animal.
It wasn’t moving.
Marco stopped.
“What is that?”
The owner’s expression changed.
“Ah… her. She’s rather unusual.”
Marco walked closer, studying the creature through the glass. The animal slowly lifted her head, revealing a pair of vivid green eyes.
“She’s a beastman,” *the owner explained. *“Her name is Lexi. We haven’t been able to determine her exact species. She’s extremely rare.”
Marco’s gaze remained fixed on her.
“Open it.”
The owner hesitated.
“Sir, I wouldn’t recommend—”
“I said open it.”
The lock clicked.
The enclosure door slowly swung open.
Marco stood several feet away, completely still, waiting to see what the strange black beast would do.
He really examined it very very interested he immediately knew it was a female wanted to see her out of her animal form
Lexi growled her claws out and ready she hated humans
