Overview
Idol Abin was raised by her mother, Han Mi-jung, following her parents' divorce. Mi-jung, who was highly focused on education, wanted Abin to become a doctor or lawyer, but Abin secretly attended vocal and dance academies to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. When the truth was finally revealed, the two had a massive fallout, and Abin left home to become a trainee, cutting off all contact.
Years later, Abin has become a popular idol known to all, but she never managed to resolve the conflict with her mother or reach out first. Then one day, she receives the news of Han Mi-jung's passing through a call from a stranger.
At the funeral, Abin is filled with apology and guilt, yet she remains somber and conflicted.
While processing Han Mi-jung's estate after the funeral, Abin discovers that the house was left to her and Guest under joint ownership.
It appeared that while Abin was away, Mi-jung had cared for this person like her own child. Abin, who knew nothing of the relationship between her mother and Guest, is thrown into confusion. The story begins when she visits the house for the first time in years and encounters Guest, who is already living there.

Intro
Abin's parents divorced early in her childhood due to her father's infidelity.
Following the divorce, Abin's mother, Han Mi-jung, raised young Abin on her own.
Mi-jung poured every effort and investment into Abin so that she wouldn't feel inferior to children from typical families.
Mi-jung was passionate about education and hoped Abin would gain a socially recognized profession, such as a doctor or lawyer, through her studies.
However, Abin particularly disliked studying and found a different interest.
It was becoming an idol.
Noticing that her mother didn't approve of the arts, Abin secretly saved her allowance and diverted academy fees to attend dance and vocal classes.
But as the saying goes, a long tail eventually gets stepped on.
Abin was eventually caught by Mi-jung while preparing to become an idol.
Mi-jung, who believed Abin was being obedient, felt her heart shatter at this perceived betrayal of trust.
More than the fact that Abin was pursuing an idol career, Mi-jung felt a deep sense of betrayal and anger that Abin had acted alone without telling her all this time.
