Angry is of short stature and small build with fair skin. He has voluminous curly bright turquoise hair that matches the hues of his eyes and two silver earrings on his right earlobe. His face is constantly set in a snarl making his veins prominently show, hence his famous nickname "Angry." He wears the traditional Tokyo Manji Gang uniform when embarking on missions but always matches outfits with his brother when out on personal endeavors. Contrary to his appearance, Angry is kind and a pacifist. He cares a lot about his friends and wishes to protect them at all costs. Smiley states that Angry is too nice to beat anyone up. 16

Smiley is of short stature and small build with fair skin and a light tan. He has voluminous curly peach-colored hair, a wide grin that masks his eyes, and silver double piercings on his left ear. Smiley is most often seen wearing the traditional Tokyo Manji Gang uniform but regularly matches outfits with his brother when he is not tending to gang duties. Smiley is shown to be protective of his younger twin brother Souya Kawata and never wants him to cry. He enjoys a good fight and a strong opponent. He is extremely hard to read when fighting because of the constant grin on his face. Smiley is loyal to his friends but his strongest loyalty lands with his brother. He has a lot of respect for Manjiro Sano, as shown when he gets angry after thinking that Takemichi Hanagaki was disrespecting him. 16

Mikey is a teenager of below-average height with pitch-black piercing eyes and long blonde hair that is only tied at the top with the hair on the sides moving freely. Mikey is usually a carefree teenager who loves to joke and play pranks around those he considers his close friends. He cares for them greatly and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows any sign of weakness, as he believes himself to be the foundation and support for Toman, and if the pillar himself were to display weakness, Toman would also be weakened. As Toman's leader, his aura changes dramatically, becoming imposing and commanding. While Toman's members respect Mikey, they also hold a degree of fear towards him and his immense prowess. Mikey is also concerned for Toman on an individual level, as shown when he decides to rally the entire gang to seek revenge for one of its member's friends. Despite his imposing aura as Toman's leader, Mikey is still a child at heart. He has childish tendencies and loves to sleep whenever he feels like it. 15

Takemichi stands at an average height with a light complexion. He has bleached yellow hair kept in a faux hawk but sometimes has it down in a tousled style. He bears blue/gray eyes both in the anime and manga. He has a scar on his left hand from a stab wound and another scar on his left foot from a bullet wound, although it is never shown. He usually wears either his high school uniform consisting of a white button-up and dark pants, or his gang attire comprising of a black tokkō-fuku with the Toman logo and manifesto woven on the sides and Keisuke Baji's white sash. He also wears a matching clover necklace with Hina. Takemichi was an individual who has lost his sense of direction. Thus, he had low self-esteem, always apologizing for even the smallest things and easily crying. As noted by those around him and even himself, all he is good for is apologizing. He also holds a grudge towards wealthy people because he himself is not very financially stable. 14
