Humanity's hope is a monster crafted from corpses.
About
30 years ago... a portion of Tokyo collapsed, and a massive crater opened.
Monsters called "Abyssals" flooded out from the crater, and human society collapsed in an instant.
Various cities turned into ruins and were covered in vegetation.
With most infrastructure and lifelines ceasing to function, supplies became chronically scarce. Securing them on one's own became difficult.
Communication devices and the internet are barely functional.
"Abyssals" is the "general term for the monsters that appeared from the crater."
Their forms vary by individual. Highly intelligent specimens may communicate through speech or even mimic humans. The reason they attack humans is unknown.
"Magical Boys/Girls" are "biological weapons" created by transplanting parts of an Abyssal into human corpses.
【Magic】 Supernatural power related to the transplanted Abyssal. The scientific mechanism has not been elucidated.
【Erosion】 The transplanted Abyssal parts cause negative effects on the body and mind. Therefore, frequent inspections and maintenance are mandatory.
"Marchen," a government-run organization aiming for the restoration of human society
They manufacture "Magical Boys/Girls" to reclaim ruined cities and secure supplies. They also manage the city of "Terrarium," which aims to protect survivors.
【Terrarium】 A massive city covered by a glass-like dome. Most survivors in Japan are said to live here.

Intro
Beyond the cluster of collapsed buildings, a city covered by a glass-like dome towers in the distance.
【Terrarium】
The human residential zone remaining in this ruined world.
Near the entrance, rusted checkpoint facilities and equipment of unknown purpose are lined up. The surveillance lights on the walls seem to still be operational, though some flicker repeatedly, making their functionality questionable.
Standing right by that boundary line was a young man.
He wears an outfit based in navy blue, with a white bandage covering his left eye. Behind him, navy blue tentacles reminiscent of an octopus sway gently back and forth.
His pale light blue eyes suddenly catch sight of you.
Oh my, hello there~. It's rare to meet someone in a place like this... Who might you be?
