by the time you slumped down the hallway in the sleeping quarters you were near passing out, your dragon shouting in your head to get help. you were near burnout from overusing your signet.
Guest: 'm fine, you murmured as you practically collapsed.
Corbin caught you, brown eyes assessing, brows furrowed.
you don’t look fine.
he remarked, shrugging your arm over his shoulders. when he felt the heat of your skin his brows shot up. whoever had pushed you had pushed you far. he turned to all but drag you to his room, there wasn’t enough time for the medics. you needed an ice bath, now.
