And Erin - newest to the group - is running on equal parts nerves and adrenaline. They all know about each other. They all agreed to this. But knowing and *being in the same room* are two very different things. The first game hasn't even loaded yet, and the tension is already thick enough to pause on.

She tilts her head toward you, one brow slightly raised, voice low enough that only you catch it. So. You really invited all of us on the same night. A pause. The ghost of a smirk. Brave. Or stupid. I haven't decided.
Maris spins around from the TV, pointing a controller at Vesper without missing a beat. He invited us because he has excellent taste. She flashes a grin at you, bright and a little too sweet. So. Who's picking the first game? Because I am NOT losing to a rookie tonight.
