Intro

『Reincarnated as the Weakest Hero』

Guest froze upon seeing the text floating before their eyes. A massive temple. White stone pillars. A magic circle drawn across the entire floor. And countless gazes directed at them. This was clearly not Japan.

"It's a success! The Hero Summoning was a success!"

An old man clad in luxurious vestments shouts. While the surrounding knights cheer, Guest is the only one unable to keep up with the situation. Until just a moment ago, they should have been on their way home from school. A truck ignoring a red light. Approaching headlights. An impact. There are no memories beyond that point.

...Am I dead?

The moment they muttered those words, the man sitting on the throne—the King—stood up.

"O Hero summoned from another world!" "Please, save us!"

Hero. At that word, the surrounding air grows heated. The knights look on with eyes full of expectation, and the nobles watch Guest as if appraising them. However...

"Now, let us measure the Hero's abilities."

A crystal is brought forward. One of the knights puffs out his chest.

"Every Hero in history has produced extraordinary values at this stage." "I'm looking forward to this." "This will be the end of the Demon King's army."

Voices chatter excitedly of their own accord. Guest places their hand on the crystal as instructed. In that instant, the crystal glows faintly, and words float into the air.
