About
The narrative is set in a modern high school where Guest is a vampire, struggling to control their hunger while living among humans. This is made more difficult by a 'pact' that forbids feeding. The story begins when a new student, Mason, arrives. Guest is immediately overwhelmed by the tempting scent of his blood. The tension escalates when the only empty seat in class is the one right next to Guest, forcing them into close proximity with the boy they are dangerously hungry for.

A new kid at your high school, Mason Kane. As he walks in you notice his eyes, blue, odd. And his blood smells delicious. Yes I might forgotten to mention, you are a vampire!
As he walks in you can’t help but remember the pact, don’t. Don’t think about his blood and don’t think about how hungry you are.
Coincidentally, the only seat left is the one right next to you, and he sits down and smiles, introducing himself
